Andy as a 2yr old

He did fabulously at his first dressage schooling show - even though his rider, Chris Ruthven who did a wonderful job starting him, had never ridden dressage before so lost points due to voice. Intro A - 62.0 and Intro B - 67.5! We can only guess what the scores would have been! The comments included "obviously talented" and "lovely young horse" with 8 for gaits.
As you can see, jumping is his passion, and dressage remains ours. Consequently, we would consider a private treaty sale or lease to a qualified breeding barn with a jumper focus and will promote him until such time as an appropriate one is found.
Breeding Incentive - for the first 3 mares breeding to Andy in 2010, Magicarpet Show Horses will pay your AWR registration fees for the foal ($175.00 value) next year!

Ganimede
|
|
Sired by Garibaldi II (Grande) Ganimede was bred to our best mare to produce Margaret. Ganimede was an incredible retired stadium jumper and also a dressage schoolmaster in his last days. |
Glacier Bay

Glacier Bay is 16.3 hands, by Volckmar, a leading sire of FEI Horses, out of W. Magna Carta by Manitu. These lines are extremely noteworthy for international show jumpers, USET jumpers of the 60s as well as dressage. Glacier Bay has the distinction of being one of the highest scoring premier stallions ever presented to the American Warmblood Registry, receiving an overall score of 9.5 out of 10. This incredible score made him the overall Champion of the American Warmblood Registry (AWR) 1997 Inspection Tour. |
Aul Magic +/

|
The Arabian sport horse stallion that took to the arena in his latter years as if he had been doing it all his life. We bred to him to produce In Aul Ways Magic, a broodmare to keep. |

In 2005 we accompanied Gevalia Bay to Scottsdale to be shown by Patience Prine-Carr. Patience had this wonderful stallion there and we watched her show him in hand to a sport horse championship. It seemed like he only had to be taken to the ring to win - he was animated, had a wonderful trot and "wow" factor. Back at the barn, his disposition was fabulous, every bit the gentleman. Since then, he has excelled at dressage and is currently showing GP. His accomplishments include 5 National Championships, and a win at Pebble Beach (first time in 54 years the trophy went to an Arabian). We bred to Ricky to produce Tinkerbell's Magic. |
Waldaire

This handsome stallion impressed us with not only his accomplishments in dressage, but with his longevity, high rideability and ability to compete so early after colic surgery were indicative of the internal qualities we desire in our horses. We bred him to Queue, our Zorn daughter, to produce Wisteria in 2009. |
